Nationally known for denouncing animal cruelty, the PAZ and L214 associations are also taking their fight to Metz. One has succeeded in forcing a sports store to stop selling live fish. The other is taking action against a supermarket that is flouting its chicken-raising standards.

Its headquarters are in Paris, but it has eyes everywhere when it comes to defending the interests of animal species.
